Qhemet's Moringa Tree Conditioning Ghee

How I love thee, let me count the ways...
So, I have been on a quest for an effective leave in. Well, I don't have to look any further. I am a major fan of Qhemet products, so I did not hesitate to participate in the Black Friday sale. I set my alarm for 6 o'clock a.m. and immediately rolled over to turn on my laptop. There were some glitches so the sale didn't start until 7, but trust and believe I put my order in ASAP and thankfully so because the sale was a huge success and later orders will be last to fill. As soon as I saw the box on my doorstep, I squealed with delight. I ripped into it and immediately put away all of the goodies but kept one of the conditioners out. I opened it and unfortunately spilled some (Be careful when opening, it is of a liquid consistency). Even after the seemingly massive spill, the product was still full which is one of the main reasons I love Qhemet products. They are filled to the brim. I immediately distributed the conditioner throughout my hair because it was in dire need of moisture. I clarified my hair a couple of days before so my hair was a bit dry. This conditioner completely rectified my dryness. My hair immediately softened and hours later, it was still soft! I love this condish, and it definitely lives up to the rest of the product line. Thanks Qhemet Biologics for saving my hair and yet again ending my quest for a moisturizing conditioner!

So it's been a while...
The top pics are of my hair when I banded on loose hair. I do this to stretch my hair without using heat. Many people ask me if I twisted my hair to get it like that but I don't. I just take a section of my loose hair while it's damp and wrap a stretchable band around the length of the hair and unwrap the band once dry. The last pic I just put my banded hair up in a fro hawk.

Are certain ingredients really that harmful to hair?

Being a part of the natural hair community and participating in certain natural hair forums, I have noticed that many naturals refuse to use products with ingredients such as mineral oil, lanolin, etc... I understand the concern because some of those ingredients clog pores, and things of that nature, which could impede hair growth or the moisture process. BUT, I was thinking back to my childhood when I was relaxer free... I remember hair products being used such as Blue Magic, Bronner Brothers Super Gro,getting my scalp greased, and my hair thrived. My cousin had extremely long hair and her mom used all of those products as well. We were relaxer free but had products on our scalp and in our hair that are balked at by many today. Even though those products aren't the most natural, they definitely helped keep our hair healthy. So, are those ingredients that bad after all? If they worked for so many years, should the sentiment remain, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"?
